From the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE), we share the progress of our partnership with their Lab of History Research and Teaching (LAPEH). Together, we are digitizing their extensive Medicine and Health Collection, which includes approximately 120,000 pages of medical theses from the 19th and early 20th centuries.
To date, 25% of the collection has been cleaned, cataloged, and digitized. Soon, these valuable documents will be available and integrated into the Transatlantic Bodies Project webpage.
